Was "Rocket" a Sex Criminal?

While the statute of limitations has long since passed, the allegations being made against Roger Clemens indicate that he may have committed statutory rape. If he did have sexual relations with Mindy McCready when she was only 15 years old, that would have constituted statutory rape in many jurisdictions across the country. Although, as the recent blogosphere discussion of age of consent highlighted, in many states Clemens's actions would not have been criminal at all.  Because Clemens and McCready were likely traveling a lot at the time, it could have been that any sexual relations between them (if there were any) would have been legal on one stopover, but not the next.
