OAKLAND, California -- Jurors in the Hans Reiser murder trial have reached a verdict, which is expected to be read here about 3:15 p.m. Pacific time Monday.

A prominent Linux programmer, Reiser is accused of murdering his wife, though no body has never been found.

Update: At about 3:00, the defendant was seated at the defense table, where he began speaking with his attorneys. He seemed pale, and visibly nervous. Four bailiffs patrolled the courtroom -- two more than usual. One of the bailiffs is positioned directly behind Reiser.

3:10. Before the verdict is read, the judge is polling the jurors, to confirm that they agreed on the verdict.
