Hey KingCast, I'm confused.... was the Royal Crescent Mob the best rock band out of Ohio, ever?

Yes they most certainly were. Some crazy times with them boys I'll tell you what. I knew Happy Chichester a bit, and drummer Carlton -- that skinny lil' black boy bangin' on the drums -- pretty well. Funk-Rock was never so good. Of course living across the street from the annual Comfest was just a bit of it, too. This VH1 review and videos don't do justice to them at all, the first one was a pop-hit engineered by The Man.

There is more: See, they were on Sire Records and opened for bands like the Talking Heads, which prompted this post about NH AG Kelly Ayotte and her minions going after me when I was legal chair of the Southern NH NAACP, i.e. "Same as it ever was" but I beat her back like she stole somethin' then went on ahead to school her on Right-to-Know Law last week in the Franconia shooting tragedy as KingCast.net.

Non Sequitur: Joy Division -- Isolation + These Days.
