Former California Assistant U.S. Attorney joins Venable

David_kettel Former U.S. Attorney David Kettel joined Venable's SEC and white-collar practice in Los Angeles as a partner, The Recorder reported.

Kettel was a prosecutor in the Central District of California, focusing on bank and bankruptcy fraud, bulk cash smuggling, narcotics trafficking, illegal alien smuggling, child pornography and identity theft.

He also spent 10 years as a commercial litigator at Baker Hostetler before that.
