Visual sexual aggression?

ADVERTISEMENTS

leering-devil.jpgOk, lookit. Even if you don't believe in hell, you know there's a special place in hell for kiddy piddlers. I'm right there with you. And yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of nasty kiddy piddlers (or even just plain old creeps) leering at kids, even if it doesn't go beyond that. And if I were a parent and saw some creepo hanging out outside my kid's school or the park or something, getting all glinty-eyed and leery, he might find a size 10-and-a-half foot up his ass.

But a law allowing people to be thrown in jail for looking at kids? Come on, Maine, that's fucking ridiculous.

And yes, the state's House has already passed a bill that would make it a crime to leer at kids in public (apparently this is just "closing a loophole" on the visual sexual aggression law which, from the vague article, I gather already bans leering in private places).
