: Misleading Advertising LawWhat is Wrong with Interlake Chemicals?
Here is a very interesting comment about the business Interlake Chemicals is in.
David,
I am in the chemicals business and will like to bring you the disadvantages about this business:
1. Most of the tiles in restaurants and hotels, to include bathtubs, are already non-slip. Employees in restaurant now are wearing the non slip shoes too. The main reason restaurant?s floors are slippery is not necessarily because is wet, is because is very greasy and this acid will not do anything to stop that. Be expecting a call back after you finished a job.
2. This acid will damage marble, granites or any other glossy surface because it will destroy the polish, gloss or treatment by etching the surfaces.
3. The cost of this acid is a bit more of what you are paying for your laundry detergent. Why are you going to pay $25,000.00 to buy work?
4. Most of today?s bathtubs are done in plastic, fiberglass or similar material that will not work on that surface.
5. These chemicals had been in the market for decades but have no retail value and I had seen lots of companies trying to do the same. You will see success like in the vacuums, water filters and encyclopedia sales, but people do not invest money on these types of businesses. In other words, the people that really make money in the non slip business are the people who sale you the distributionship.
If you decide to do this I wish you good luck!
Well, what do you think? Troy on the mark or not?
