Due to our continued growth, we currently have a new opening for a Patent Agent at our Corporate Headquarters in Newton, MA. This person will report to our Patent Attorney and will be an important member of our Legal Department. 

Responsibilities include:
? Working with the engineering staff and product managers to identify patentable inventions and generate invention disclosures
? Preparing patent applications and responses to office actions
? Assisting with patentability and infringement studies
? Assisting with other IP-related matters

Required skills:
? Bachelor?s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
? 3-5 years in prosecuting patent applications in law firms
? Excellent communications, analytical and organizational skills
? Ability to work in a fast paced environment
? Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
? Must be registered to practice before the USPTO
