Pier 1 Imports Recalls Tea Lights

A voluntary recall of tea lights was announced by Pier 1 Imports in the United States and Canada, due to a fire hazard if the flame burns too high.

To date, Pier 1 has received four reports of high flames. More than 370,000 tea lights were involved in the U.S. while 30,000 were recalled in Canada.

Tea lights in golden tin cups sold in sets of 5 with the Red Ornament Tea Light Holder (SKU 2473959) or the White Ornament Tea Light Holder (SKU 2473961) are included in this recall.

Consumers should discontinue use of the tea lights and return them to their nearest Pier 1 Imports store for a replacement set.
