Free ERPA CE From the IRS

By Suzanne Wynn

ADVERTISEMENTS

I love free ERPA CE, especially when it is hosted by the IRS. There is still time to register for the FREE hour-long webinar that the IRS is hosting on March 4, 2011 at 2pm ET. The IRS says it will focus on recently published guidance as well as updates on current IRS initiatives in which IRS Employee Plans is involved. The two speakers are Ingrid Grinde, the Manager of IRS Employee Plans Group 1 and Rhonda Migdail, frequent ASPPA speaker and Manager of IRS Employee Plans Technical Guidance and Quality Assurance Group 2.

This webinar has been approved for 1 hour of ERPA CE, which should mean that it is also good for 1 hour of ASPPA CE and 1 hour of NIPA CE.

To register, just go to the IRS webpage on Upcoming Phone Forums.

Last year, the IRS offered around 10 hours of free ERPA CE. I’m hoping that this webinar is an indication from the IRS that they plan on offering at least that much of free ERPA CE this year.
