Vaquitamlaw.com is brought to you by the law firm of Cook & Kitts, PLLC, and will deal with qui tam litigation under the Virginia Fraud Against Taxpayers Act (VFATA) specifically as well as developments and litigation under the Federal False Claims Act and other state False Claims Acts.

Our goal is something more than the typical, marketing oriented legal blog that offers only generalized information on the latest case developments from elsewhere. Our goal is to stimulate discussion and generate interest in the VFATA among the Virginia Bar. To that end, we will discuss legal and other developments viewed through the lens of qui tam and demonstrate, hopefully, the relevance of the Virginia Fraud Against Taxpayers Act to nearly every aspect of Virginia law.
