The World's Youngest Billionaires

By Chuck Newton

ADVERTISEMENTS

Billion_novelty The ranks of which I will probably never join, Forbes profiles the youngest billionaires in the World today.  I guess we should not gloat that our billionaires are be best, but what I observed in viewing the profiles of the World's youngest billionaires is that all of them from all other countries obtained their money through inheritance, whereas all of the young billionaires of the United States made the money themselves.

I also like the concept of a billion dollar bill, pictured.  I would probably keep it in my wallet with a bunch of ones, and then accidentally give it to some panhandler, or put it in the church collection plate, or leave it as a tip at a restaurant, or just leave it in my pants for my wife to find later in the dryer.  Does it not seem in this day and age that paper money is becoming frivolous?  I hardly carry any money any longer.  I just whip out my trusty debit card almost everyplace I go.  I stopped at a Dairy Queen in Sour Lake, Texas for a treat not long ago, and discovered that they did not take debit cards.  Shocked, I had to go scrambling for spare change to pay the tab.

I wonder if young billionaires carry cash and buy dip cones at Dairy Queen?
