: Chuck NewtonNo Room For A Working Home Office?
By chucknewton
For whatever reason you just have to have a degree of privacy at home in order to work from home. You need to be outside of the house, even if it is on the other side of the yard. You feel like you need that degree of separation. There may not be room for you in the house. It is too noisy. Whatever the reason, you might want to look at the MetroShed or the larger MetroCabin for your backyard.
The MetroShed probably big enough, but no matter which you chose there seems to be two possibilities. One is that you place it in your yard so you may move your guest room or junk room out there and utilize the old guess room as your home office. The second thing is that you can simply move your home office outside, away from the noise and distractions.
Both are pre-fab multipurse structures. They have insulated walls. They come in a flat pack for
tongue-in-groove installation. If you need to finance it, you can get a cash rebate to pay for the assembly. And, you can get it up and running in about three days after delivery. You can even order them in various packages to include what you need.
The starting price of the MetroCabin is $32,500, and the MetroShed is less. The price is less than purchasing a larger home, and it is certainly cheaper than renting space over the long term. Besides it would seem to have favorable tax treatment.
If you live in an urban area, this might not be practical, although you can place them on a roof top. But, if you have any yard it shows that when you do not believe you have any alternatives, you in fact do.
