Headlinedesk Is space a premium in your small office or home?  Then you might want to look into the OneLessDesk by Heckler Design.

As the website for this desk states it correctly -- "At one time, you needed a desk that could handle a mountain of paper, a two-foot-deep monitor, a printer, and a CPU the size of a Labrador. Today, your entire computer is an inch thick and your printer (which you only use to print boarding passes) is in your closet connected to your WiFi".

OneLessDesk's upper and lower decks are completely independent of oneGet_creative another, which means you can come up with whatever configuration you like. Make it work in your cube, den, loft, reception area, or bedroom.  The upper deck has enough room, and more than enough strength, for your two 24-inch flat-panel displays.  There is much more room for other devices.  The lower deck provides an ample surface for your favorite input devices. At 25 inches high, the lower deck is surprisingly comfortable for writing, typing, and mousing.  OneLessDesk's out-of-sight, rear-facing shelf provides a great home for your wires, power strip, external hard drives, USB hub, and small speakers - all in ventilated, heat-sinking Hideclutter comfort.  OneLessDesk's built-in foot rest gives you a place to rest your feet.  The desk is said to be built like a tank.  It is constructed entirely of thick, 12 gauge stainless steel, fully welded, and sports a beautiful, non-directional brushed finish.

At just $900 it is a little expensive for a miser, but you try to find something build with stainless steel.  Also, in 2008 they are only going to make a 100 of them, since they are handcrafted.
