I have posted about using cargo shipping containers before as either a home office alternative, or just to create a small law office somewhere that is affordable.
This project in Gandino, Italy is particularly entertaining because it substitutes glass for the non-supporting walls of the cargo shipping container. It is not that many lawyers would want to live in a glass house, but a cheap cargo shipping container could be retrofitted as a back porch, or the entry way to an office, or something like a waiting or conference room to attach to other containers or a smaller building to make the perfect office cheaply.
And, if it is sunlight you want, but not a loss of privacy, you can always use something like Kalwall instead of glass.
Anyway, check it out.
