The Clinton-Obama Bankroll

By Matt Cooper

ADVERTISEMENTS

Republicans really should be very afraid. Clinton and Obama continue to trounce McCain in fundraising and voter turnout. Clinton raised $35 million in the last month; Obama says he raised even more. McCain we don't know yet, but if current trends continue, it's not even in the same leagure. And voter turnout on the Democratic side just keeps swamping the Republicans. That doesn't mean it's a cakewalk in November. I think McCain's odds of being the next president are quite good. But it is more of an uphill fight when the other's guy or gal's team is pumped up and yours is annoyed and dispirited.
