Two Officers and Three People Injured After Van Strikes Chicago Police Car

Last night five people suffered personal injuries in Chicago?s Little Village neighborhood when a car crash occurred involving a police squad car that was struck by a van. The Illinois automobile accident left two police officers and three others suffering from severe personal injuries. The squad car had its lights and sirens blaring when the dangerous car accident occurred. Two officers involved have been released from the hospital where they were treated for injuries; the three people inside the van, two of whom were in serious to critical condition and a third that was fair, were taken to area hospitals. There is no word yet whether any personal injury lawsuits will be filed.
