By Suresh Pillai -- Caraco Motion for Summary Judgment in Prandin® Case Denied The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan has denied a motion for summary judgment brought by Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd. and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (the majority shareholder of Caraco) in their patent suit with Novo Nordisk over Prandin®, a drug for the treatment of diabetes.
