: New York Civil LawUpcoming Webconference on The Advances of Technology in Modern Litigation
By Matthew Lerner
On November 18, 2008, the Young Lawyers Webconference Subcommittee of the Defense Research Institute will present "The Advances of Technology in Modern Litigation." During this webconference, fellow Young Lawyer Committee members, Sean Shirley of Balch & Bingham LLP and me will provide useful tips regarding: informal discovery tactics and techniques (Facebook, Myspace, Google, etc.); how to preserve informal discovery finds for use in litigation; how to overcome potential privacy hurdles; how to use technology in the courtroom; and basic key principles of e-discovery.
Here is more information about the webconference and how to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact me at mlerner@goldbergsegalla.com.
