I want to say something profound about the VP debate.  It's the only debate I'll likely listen to or watch all election cycle, because I despise the canned nature of most debates, but morbid curiosity got the better of me...

...but I just don't know what to say, aside from this observation: I was so embarrassed for Palin's performance that I found myself cheering when she actually answered a question asked of her, instead of rambling like a C+ junior high school debate club contender. 

The rest of the time I thought, "Sweet baby Jesus, she *is* dumber than a sack of hammers." 

Kudos to Biden for not appearing condescending.  Now that was a masterwork of diplomacy!
