By Anne Skove, Esq.
Is there a skeleton in your courthouse? Or under it?
In beautiful Rockbridge County, Virginia (home of W&L Law, for which we have a soft spot) a skeleton was found during excavations for a new courthouse.
Luckily, Virginia is buried under many talented (and still living) archeologists! A Radford professor has determined that the skeleton is that of a 20-something-ish woman from the 1800s. We all know "X never marks the spot," so the rest of her story remains unknown.
The new courthouse boasts new jail cells (including wheelchair-accessible oens), better security, and four courtrooms.
