Raising the Bar (TNT)

By jeremyblachman

...should be required viewing for everyone who works at a law firm and wants to feel better about it.  Just watched tonight's episode, which pretty much paints both sides of the public system -- the DA's office and the public defenders -- as pretty crappy places to work as an attorney, filled with disappointment, frustration, no respect, and small paychecks.  So if you work at a firm, and feel like what you do is utterly pointless, watch Raising The Bar and you can reassure yourself that you have it better than most people, and at least you have a nice apartment to go with it.  Not that the whole banking mess isn't making you feel better about your law firm job already this week.
