Miscellaneous

• Day 5 of Peach hasty-poo - but she made it through all day at daycare without getting sent home.  I suspect it was a near-run thing - so to speak.
• Day 1 of my job - and I loved it.  I was busy but not overwhelmed, and because I've been doing contract work for this office for some time, I didn't feel lost or out at sea - just ready to work.  I sit at a huge glass and steel desk* with Herman Miller client chairs -- NOT something I ever saw myself doing, but I could definitely get used to it.    
• Commuting in with Matthew and the Peach was fabulous.  It's an hour and a half together (round trip) of "found" time.

*The former conference room table.  I had a glass and steel desk on order, and was making do until the interior designer who'd done the space wandered past the office and suggested that I arrange this that way and that this way, and before I knew it, the lovely conference room table looked like it had been designed as a desk. 

My real chair, bookcase, and file cart won't arrive until Thursday, though.
