: court-o-rama.orgBlog of the Week(end): Simple Justice
By Anne Skove, Esq.
Simple Justice's subhead is "a New York Criminal Defense Blog." We're pretty far outside the NY box, and we're not criminal defense lawyers. That just proves there's something there for everyone.
SJ is interesting. So many blogs and blawgs are not. Bloggers' cats' habits and their thoughts about, oh, whatever, the missing shin guard or the lack of good tv or silly things for sale on Craigslist or a bad work day, are of no interest to most people (except ours are, of course!) It's the cyberspace version of the pothole paradox.
Does the world really need another blog, much less blawg? Evidently. ("Evidently," btw, would make a great name for an evidence blawg, if it hasn't been taken!)
This blawg simultaneously provides a ground's eye and panoramic view. Simple Justice's great info and commentary about NJ's new DUI testing caused us to forgo that story ourselves. Also: are defendants too often convicted based on gruesome (yet tangential) photos? And what is up with all those cavity searches in Albany?
Very little rambling on! Nice layout! Curious picture! Blah blah blah. Let me tell you about my mom's cat! But we digress. Scott H. Greenfield (not to be confused with Scott J. Greenfield) is the proprietor. His posts are thoughtful and thought-provoking. He not only hasn't deleted any of our comments, he added court-o-rama to his blogroll!
At the risk of having to say no when asked to star in his tv spots, we're glad he's on our side.
