By Anne Skove, Esq.
Like orange juice or O.J., grits are not just for breakfast anymore!
There are two things true about Texans: 1) they tell great stories, and 2) they make for great stories. That's why Molly Ivins was so good at writing about W. Had they both been from, say Indiana, it might not have been quite so entertaining.
Grits for Breakfast is the fabulous title of a blog by and about Texans. Texas used to be its own country!
According to itself, "Grits for Breakfast looks at the Texas criminal justice system with a little politics and whatever else suits the author's fancy thrown in. All opinions are my own. The facts belong to everybody."
If that part about facts isn't a mantra for all bloggers, we don't know what is.
So forget the goetta and remember the Alamo and read Grits.
