: Structured Settlements 4RealStructured Annuities Inc. Lays Down Rifle But "Can't Boil The Hog"
By John Darer
Well it's clear that the principals of Structured Annuities, Inc, became aware of this blog because the media celebrating their 2007 "bird killing event" has been removed from their website, an event we reported on in Structured Settlement Kill Zone: Lessons From The Great Dove Hunt of 2007 on January 9, 2010.
The company has notably updated its copyright from 2003 to 2010, with all rights reserved, yet still posts circa 1999 material Structured Annuities, Inc. has attributed to Hartford Life. The information hasn't been accurate for some time as was pointed out in the aformentioned post as well as Two Texas Structured Settlement Companies "Can't Get Lard Unless They Boil The Hog" on December 6, 2009 and Structured Annuity Consultants Using Outdated and Inaccurate Comparison With US Treasuries, dated January 2, 2009.
I'm not sure that the bullet has been removed from "the foot" that Structured Annuities shot into. Which is more worthy of hiding, the perception that have shot little birds for sport or the fact that you are misleading the public by using outdated, inaccurate information attributed to a company that is no longer writing structured settlements?
Surely if Structured Annuities Inc. has the time to change the copyright date and hide the photos of the "bird shooting party" it has the time to make the other changes. It is not unreasonable for tort victims, lawyers and judges who come across settlement industry websites to expect, and be able to count on, accurate information from financial experts. Financial literacy starts at home.
