: Structured Settlements 4RealFactoring Industry Wordsmiths-"Liquidity" vs "Cash Now" vs "All Your Money Now"
By John Darer
Settlement Capital Corporation, a Dallas, TX based factoring company employs a refreshing alternative marketing approach in describing the services it offers to consumers.
Instead of the serial false advertising practiced by a number of "cash now pushers", Settlement Capital states that it "offers liquidity" for holders of periodic payments, lotteries etc.
On the other hand, Peachtree Settlement Funding has LIED with impunity to consumers in its advertising for over 18 months utilizing the fib that you can get "all your money now" (by dealing with Peachtree). They and certain other "cash now pushers" could well do with Settlement Capital's example of truth in advertising.
At the heart of Peachtree's lie is that by selling structured settlement payments to Peachtree or any other factoring company you will never get "all your money" now, or anytime, because (1) there is a discount to present value (2) there are legal fees and expenses and Peachtree's profit. The "all your money now" lie helps Peachtree capitalizes on consumer ignorance.
Kudos to Settlement Capital Corporation for above example of ethical advertising
