You Win Some, You Lose Some

As of 12:15 am Saturday morning, half a million rabid Facebookers had registered their usernames. Dangian wasn’t a hot property, so I was able to snag it about 10 hours later.

Flush with success, I decided it was time to install my DTV converter box.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.

What’s my favorite show? This Old House. Which local stations is it on? WHYY 12 and NJN 23. What digital channels can’t I get? WHYY 12 and NJN 23.

Thanks, federal government.

We’re on a tight budget at home. I’m not forking over another 50 bucks a month for cable. So I’ve been pushed into the waiting arms of Hulu and YouTube. That’s one less TV customer. Apparently, there are a lot more people like me out there.

So, to kick off my Internet-based TV life, I leave you with The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat, circa 1974.
