: Jenkins WebblitsTwitter Announces “Discovery Engine” But Makes Me Wait For It
Yesterday Twitter announced changes to its search engine. Now there’ll be a search box on the sidebar of your home page, rather than a link buried at the bottom. I believe the search engine will default to the accounts you’re following; it’s unclear to me if you’ll be able to broaden it to everyone. (I’m guessing you will.) You’ll also be able to save queries and view current hot topics.
But since I don’t rate as a Twitter Power User, I’ll have to wait to see the changes. (Stop smirking, you will, too.)
It seems like only yesterday — oh, gracious me, it *was* only yesterday — that I posted about how Facebook and Twitter were the real next-gen search tools.

Cognition for Legal
The race is on to make (and sell to users) the first truly good search engine that deals well with concepts, such that a search for “dog bites man” would include results without the word “dog” or “bites” but that include “Pomeranian” and “attacks,” to give a very simple example...
LTNY 2009: Twitter Topples Electronic Discovery
It's official: Twitter has de-throned "electronic discovery" as the most buzzworthy term at LegalTech. While the ratio of EDD vendors at the show is still extremely high, much of the talk surrounding the show revolves around Twitter and its uses...
