From the article: "At his usual table at Chez Panini, Arthur was enjoying his lunch with Larry Kohn, his close friend who teaches lawyers how to be rainmakers. Seated across the room at a table for two were Jane Smith and a man whom Arthur recognized as J. Cartwright Brontus, a partner at Brontus, Burger, and Stone, one of the oldest general contracting firms in town.

Arthur could not help but notice that it did not take long for Brontus to finish his meal, excuse himself, and leave the restaurant. Jane remained at the table alone. On her face was a stunned expression. Arthur caught her eye and waved her over to his table.

"Hi Jane, you look like you're miserable. Let me cheer you up. Come join us," said Arthur.

Jane slumped in her chair. "I am miserable. A big miserable fool!"
