: Jenkins WebblitsNew iTunes Pricing Now In Effect
Yesterday the new iTunes pricing I wrote about previously went live. I would have loved to perform an in-depth test of it last night, but someone (and she knows who she is) seems to feel our Mac belongs to her and hogged it all evening. So I had to install iTunes on my work laptop and do a hurry-up test this morning.
Anyway, it appears to shake out like this. Hot songs from popular artists or any older songs that still have legs are gonna be jacked up to a buck twenty-nine. Examples from my rigorous scientific testing include Rihanna’s “Disturbia”, “Spaceman” by The Killers, “Upside Down” from Jack Johnson, and — ewww — “Come Sail Away” by Styx. Most everything else seems to be staying at $.99.
But there’s good news. I could, if I wanted, download “Sisters” by Rosemary Clooney for a mere $.69. (Only 261 days til Christmas.)
