: LexLibrisNew! Library Guide to AV Materials Collection
The Law Library's collection includes a wide variety of audio visual materials from popular films such as, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Firm and Michael Clayton, to documentaries on a variety of topics. The library also owns a number of instructional AV materials related to law school courses such as civil procedure and trial practice. These include CLE materials, study aid materials such as the Sum & Substance series, lectures from legal scholars, and more.
To assist users in locating these materials the library has produced a new Audio Visual Materials Guide available at: http://library.law.umn.edu/researchguides/av-materials.html. The guide includes two lists. The first list arranges AV titles by related law school course. The second list groups AV materials under specific topics such as: abortion, law examinations, the Scopes Trial, and the US Supreme Court. The guide also offers tips on locating AV materials using the library catalog MNCAT and information on viewing and listening equipment in the library.
