History of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL)

ADVERTISEMENTS
We have added a new book to the collection, The First Century: One Hundred Years of AALL History, 1906-2005 by Frank G. Houdek. Quoting from the introduction, this book "highlights, on a year-to-year basis, many of the key moments and individuals that, taken together, comprise AALL's first century." General information about the organization is available at the AALL website.

Of particular interest are four entries for our own Sally Holterhoff, Government Information and Reference Librarian & Associate Professor of Law. Sally has been active in AALL, and was President in 2006/2007. Included in the entries for the year 1982 is a brief snippet of Sally's reactions to attending her first AALL annual meeting. Other entries refer to her chairing the Ad Hoc Chapter Relations Advisory Group and her election as President-Elect in the first online election.

Congratulations to Sally for this recognition of her contributions to the organization.
