Over 400 IGF 2011 Submissions

Organizers of the 13th Annual Independent Games Festival announced that the number of entries submitted this year surpass those from last year. The submission deadline for the IGF 2011's Main Competition ended this week. Slightly less than 400 entrees were submitted for the top IGF prize, which will be awarded during the 2011 Game Developers Conference.

Around 150 of those entries were for mobile platforms such as Android, DS, iPhone, iPad, and PSP. Mobile games are eligible for all IGF 2011 prizes, including an award unique to mobile platforms: the Best Mobile Game award. Read More
