: Legal Pad | LASpector tries to remove judge from murder trial

Phil Spector's defense attorneys filed a motion on Wednesday to remove the judge from his upcoming murder retrial.
They claim that Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Larry Fidler favored the prosecution during Spector's last year's trial - which ended in a mistrial - alleging that he wanted to prove that a celebrity could be convicted in the court, the Associated Press reported.
Spector is accused of killing actress Lana Clarkson. The pretrial hearing is set for March 28.
