: Legal Pad | LAProp 8 appealed by Imperial County

Imperial County has filed an appeal with the 9th Circuit challenging Judge Walker's Prop 8 ruling.
According to the LA Times, about 70 percent of voters in Imperial County approved the proposition. The county is being represented by the Christian legal group Advocates for Faith and Freedom.
Attorneys for the official backers of Prop. 8, ProtectMarriage, have also appealed the ruling.
