: Legal Pad | LANudists win lawsuit against state parks

Nudists at San Onofre State Beach won a lawsuit last Wednesday against the state parks department , the Los Angeles Times reported (here).
In June, park officials had announced a nudity ban at the beach, which has been a safe haven for naked beach-goers for three decades.
The Naturist Action
Committee sued, accusing the parks department
of violating the Administrative Procedures Act by seeking a nudity ban
without seeking public input, the Orange County Register reported (here).
The judge agreed, ruling that a public hearing was necessary to change the policy under the Administrative Procedure Act.
