: Legal Pad | LAMcDonough attorneys go to BB&K, among others

Eighteen lawyers from McDonough Holland & Allen PC will be joining Best Best & Krieger on September 1st.
The group includes Ed Quinn, McDonough?s chief executive officer, redevelopment attorney T. Brent Hawkins and city attorneys Iris Yang and Harriet Steiner. An as-yet-undetermined number of staff will follow the group to BB&K offices at 400 Capitol Mall.
Lawyers besides Quinn, Hawkins, Yang and Steiner who are joining BB&K?s municipal and redevelopment practice as partners are: Linda Beck, Seth Merewitz, Kara Ueda and Ethan Walsh.
The announcement is the latest in a series of deals reached by lawyers at Sacramento?s second-largest law firm as it prepares to wind down operations by Labor Day.
