From the helpful folks at FSU's Law Library/Research Center, I just came across this helpful post regarding Google Scholar Alerts, which you might want to set up for your children and best friends...Google Scholar's wonderful functionality can be illuminated with respect to the task of "brand management." Just the other day a colleague told me of a situation where X came across, via Google Scholar, an SSRN draft of Y's article citing X (for a proposition X doesn't hold). X informed Y (of the bittersweet situation), which Y promptly corrected. Epic story ends nicely. Go technology!
