Tuesday 8:00 am update - Day after Gustav

Becky and I are okay. Yesterday was a long day, though. We lost power at 3:30 am on Monday and then lost cellphone coverage around 10:00 am. I was able to post to my twitter page using my Kindle (which works on the Sprint network). My AT&T service is working now so I'm able to use my wireless card to post this.

We have generator power so the fridge is working along with the coffee pot and that means we have an embryonic foothold into civilization. There were a lot of cellphone text messages from folks that I'll get to in a bit (still cleaning up etc.), but I wanted to let everyone know we're okay.
