Great book for mac users, especially lawyers

By Ernie Svenson

ADVERTISEMENTS

I met David Sparks last year at the ABA TechShow, where we were both presenters. I always enjoy TechShow, but last year was special mostly because of meeting David. He's a really smart guy, but very thoughtful and grounded.

David's presentations were excellent, and I came away with some really helpful tips. David showed me how to use some basic tools in ways that exponentially increased my productivity. If you want to learn how to get more done with your Mac then David is the guy you should listen to.

Recently, David completed a book called Mac at Work, which is a comprehensive overview of all the software tools that he uses to get work done on his Mac. It's not focused on the legal profession, but lawyers who use Macs would benefit greatly from this book.

My wife borrowed my copy the other day and apparently started reading it. She can't put it down, and every once in awhile she'll exclaim "Oh wow, this is an AMAZING book!" Indeed, it is. I can see I'm going to have to order another copy for myself.

David will be speaking again at TechShow, but if you can't get to TechShow (and you really should) then you can follow him regularly via his Mac PowerUsers podcast.
