I have already posted my distaste for New York City's dysfunctional zoning regime that excludes residential uses from industrial zones. for those of you who are interested in zoning, here is the article that David Schleicher and I wrote, forthcoming in a U. Your comments would be appreciated, as David and I plan to produce another piece on a related topic -- how to get NIMBY-minded neighbors to take into account the social costs of their activism against new housing.
