three good things

- The 3L Paper, for all intents and purposes, is DONE. It is 40 pages, 131 footnotes, of which 130 are perfectly composed and formatted. Footnote 77 is holding out on me. I can't find an appropriate official source for it, so I have to wait until Monday, make a phone call, and have this conversation:

Me: Hi there. Uh, so remember, during the New Bedford raid, when ICE was like, wah wah, you can't do X without doing Y?
Her: Yeah, that was ridiculous.
Me: That's definitely what happened, right?
Her: Oh yeah.

Me (typing) 77: Interview with XX, Senior Attorney Type, Institute for Do-Gooding (April 28, 2008). SEND! SEND! SEND!

- I think we found daycare for Becca! HALLELUJAH! Big ups to CM for recommending a nice referral service. We got 3 open listings, visited the one that was both the cheapest AND by far the closest, and uh, I think we're done. They have a playhouse and those little Flintstones cars you push with your feet! It's still a lot of money, but I think this is as good as it gets without going down to Crazy Eddie's Discount Daycare and Tire Sales. Whew.

- I got a reminder email for my Jeopardy! audition in a week and a half. YAY!
