My red tattoo

ADVERTISEMENTS
So, I got this tattoo on my ankle. True story. :)

Photobucket

I got it at the very end of March/beginning of April. It's still healing. I still have a little bit of a scab at a couple of points. I was wondering if the tattoo artist was too harsh because it seemed to be taking so long to heal, and I thought something was wrong with it because it turned from red to pink. Even though I found a couple of websites that said it was normal (from the sloughing off of the "damaged" skin as a result of being tattooed) I wasn't reassured.

Until now. It all turned out to be true. My tattoo is back to being completely red, and it's almost done healing. Thank God.

So I just figured I'd let you all know, too, in case you ever get a red tattoo, too!
