Speaking of Slate, they recently launched a new legal blog called Convictions (get it?), which is pretty good.  Slate is turning into a bunch of blogs anyway, but this one manages not to be totally boring.

This link in particular is pretty cool.  Bryan Garner sat down with eight of the Supreme Court's justices (Souter was busy watching TV we think) and talked about legal writing.  We're kind of grammar nerds, despite what you might conclude from our blog, and so the interviews we've listened to so far have been fascinating.  They're filled with helpful tips, such as "Don't cite to something, cite something!" and also interesting history tidbits.  It's also just cool to hear justices geek out over comma splices.
