: Jolly LawgerToday is the First Day of the Rest Of Your Life (4/10/2008).
By Steve Pirates
Today is the last day of my 1L year classes. Finals start next week, but after today, no more property lectures, no more torts outlines, no more (k)ontracts, and no more Federal Civil Procedure EVER.
This year has been interesting in ways I would have not imagined law school to be interesting. Looking back I?ve come to some conclusions about law school, or at least Cal Western, that I?d like to share. So tomorrow I will. Today is a day for review and reading for finals.
It?s been an interesting ride trying to do well in law school, keep a relationship intact, keep a few hours of work, find a summer job, and not go crazy in the meantime.
1L Recap post tomorrow, and then, during finals, a post a day to illustrate the finals process for any prospectives wondering what it?s like. Over the summer, I will either be in Los Angeles or San Diego. If I?m in SD, then regular updates. If I?m in Los Angeles, I?ll update once or twice a week at max, since I?ll just be working and not in school at all.
To everyone who has read this throughout the year, thank you. (yes, all four of you?. you too mom.)
I hope everyone in school has fun in finals, and has a happy and stress and law free summer.
