Who You Got? (Sep. 26th)

By Pete

ADVERTISEMENTS

College football Saturday is upon us. I will be keeping up with the games. Here are the teams (other than Alabama) that I have decided should1 win today:

  • Mississippi State (over LSU) — LSU is one of ‘Bama’s big competitors in the SEC West. The more conference losses they take, the better. Also, they smell like corndogs.
  • Indiana (over Michigan) — Go Hoosiers! (Alternately: Go [to hell] Michigan!)
  • Virginia Tech (over Miami) — Helps Alabama’s strength of schedule. Also, I hate the idea of the bunch of thugs in Coral Gables being good again.
  • Georgia (over ASU) — Really get sick of listening to PAC-10 fans whine about how they’re just as good at football as the big boys are.
  • Ball State (over Auburn) — I want Auburn to lose at everything. Forever. No exceptions.
  • Ohio (over Tennessee) — I want UcheaT to lose pretty much all the time, too.
  • Vanderbilt (over Rice) — I hate the idea of an SEC team getting beaten by a bland foodstuff, though if anyone can make that happen, it’s the ‘Dores.
  • UTEP (over Texas) — Texas is ranked #2. Alabama is ranked #3. Enough said.

So there you have it. Feel free to post your hopes and dreams in the comments2.

  1. Meaning that I would like them to, not that I think they actually will.

  2. So that I can mock them.
