Recognition Where It's Deserved

Since January, this blog has garnered about 25,000 hits, added 500 posts, and taken on several authors.

I want to express my gratitude to:

(1) Publius--though his infrquent posts generally require a lot of research and energy, they are insightful and much appreciated. We hope to see more of his posts here before he takes on his next big research project.

(2) JS--thoughtful and humorous, JS has provided both casual and more involved posts generally from the other end of the political spectrum as myself. He keeps me honest in the comments, and always ensures that the blog doesn't become an echo chamber. Also, sometimes he is right.

(3) Tuco--in addition to giving frequent fodder for the conversations we post from time to time, Tuco has both posted his own educational posts, and sent many tens of posts my way. His insight is matched only my his sense of humor.

(4) KK--with me from long before the last 6 months, KK has posted in spurts here and there. With a busy schedule, KK has taken the time to keep the content of the blog light and funny. Her efforts are certainly appreciated. And now that it's summer, I hope to see her posting more if she can find a little bit of down time.

Thanks to all of the authors, commenters, and silent readers. Since January 1, we've had 500 posts, at an average of 50 hits per post, in less than 6 months. Pretty great work everyone.
