: SoapBox LawRIP Dell Inspiron 600M (2004-2008)
It is always sad to see a young computer snuffed out in the flower of it's youth. My parents graciously bought me my Dell for my birthday before going to law school. The plan was for my computer to last at least through the bar in July, but alas it wasn't meant to be. I had to get my mother board and hard drive replaced respectively in the last year and then, finally, my power button simply ceased to work in the last few weeks. It's as if the life just slowly drained out of it, like Little Ann did when Old Dan died in Where the Red Fern Grows. While I got a pretty nice Lenovo for $500 (plus free data transfer!), it will never replace my Dell, the first true laptop of my life.Full post as published by SoapBox Law on February 21, 2008 (boomark / email).
