In further evidence that the Republicans aren't serious about winning in the 2008 election, less than half of Senate Republicans voted for restrictions on earmarks offered by John McCain. So much for the idea of limited government, folks. According to Taxpayers For Common Sense, only 16 members of Congress, including McCain, didn't sponsor earmarks last year.
