One Point.

ADVERTISEMENTS

Well, I think I will re-watch the season finale of the Grey’s Anatomy television program tonight.

I really enjoy the show. Lots of good lines. Lots of good characters. The character I identify with most is George O’Malley, probably because he’s the really nice guy who has managed to inexplicably hook up with the majority of the really hot chicks he knows.

As some of you know, George O’Malley had to repeat his intern year. This was because he failed his intern exam. In the season finale he discovers that he missed the cut by one point. One Point.

Today, one of my dearest friends made the comment that they felt they had been the last person to grade onto law review. In discussing this with them I found out that my dear friend finished one place ahead of me. She was thirty-two. Thirty-two graded on. I am number thirty-three.

ONE POINT!!!!! So, the quip I made about better by four than by one? Yeah, strike that. My new ego-salving motto is going to be the speech Lexie Grey gave to George in the finale. Because really, that’s all I got right now.
